twelve Emerges as a Gospel Hip Hop Visionary Marked by Patience, Experimentation, and Purpose

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
In a music industry often driven by speed, visibility, and geography, twelve represents a different kind of Gospel Hip Hop artist, one whose journey has been shaped by faith, persistence, and a willingness to build quietly while waiting for the right moment. A Gospel Hip Hop artist and producer from Indiana, twelve’s story is not defined by touring schedules or mainstream exposure, but by obedience, artistic growth, and a long-term vision rooted in spiritual warfare and redemption.
Being a hip hop artist in Indiana presents unique challenges. With little infrastructure for original music and virtually no established hip hop scene, opportunities for booking, touring, and industry support have historically been limited. For twelve, these circumstances did not end the calling; they refined it. Rather than chasing an environment that did not exist, he focused on developing his craft, experimenting with sound, and allowing his artistry to mature over time.
twelve’s debut album, The Onset, tells the story of that early development. A workable version of the project was completed in 2012 and intentionally released on December 12, 2012 (12/12/12), a symbolic and personal milestone tied to his birthday. While the album marked his official introduction as a recording artist, it was not until early 2020 that a fully mastered version was released that truly reflected the quality and standard he desired. That patience underscores twelve’s commitment to authenticity rather than rushing a moment.
The Onset is unapologetically experimental. As a debut project, twelve approached the album as a creative proving ground, intentionally incorporating multiple styles, flows, and sonic influences. The goal was not to fit neatly into one lane, but to discover where his strengths naturally emerged. In that sense, the album lives up to its name, it is the beginning, not the conclusion, of his artistic identity. Today, The Onset remains the only project in full distribution, serving as a snapshot of exploration, curiosity, and raw potential.

Since then, twelve’s evolution has continued largely behind the scenes. He has collaborated closely with OneMinD, his long-time creative partner, on the SoundCloud release Bridges. This free mixtape project reflects a deeper sense of cohesion and purpose, both musically and spiritually. The title itself speaks volumes, symbolizing connection, between people, perspectives, and ultimately, humanity and God. While Bridges is not a commercial release, it plays a crucial role in documenting growth and creative chemistry.
Another major project is now nearly complete, the result of years of preparation and refinement. This upcoming album carries special significance, featuring ManChild, one of twelve’s personal heroes, on the title track. The collaboration represents both respect for legacy and alignment in message. Like Bridges, this release is planned as a free mixtape, reinforcing twelve’s commitment to accessibility and ministry over profit. His focus has never been on monetizing the message, but on delivering it faithfully.
Beyond his work as an artist and producer, twelve has developed a deep passion for Christian music across genres. Over time, this appreciation grew into a broader vision, one that extended beyond his own catalog. Encouraged by those around him and fueled by a carefully curated collection of music, twelve began building Redemption Radio.
Currently available on SoundCloud, Redemption Radio features approximately 20 hours of uninterrupted, mixed programming designed to feel like a true radio experience without DJs, commercials, or distractions. The intent is deliberate: a message-driven platform for the serious music listener, allowing the music itself to communicate truth, conviction, and hope. While Redemption Radio has not yet launched as a full-time station, it represents an important extension of twelve’s mission to reclaim sound and space for the Kingdom.
What distinguishes twelve is not only his sound, but his strategy. He openly acknowledges that his full artistic evolution has not yet been released. The newer tracks he is finalizing reflect years of growth, spiritual depth, and clarity that surpass what listeners have heard so far. Rather than rushing visibility, twelve has chosen preparation, believing that timing, obedience, and discernment matter just as much as talent.
Looking ahead, this year marks a decisive turning point. twelve is preparing for what he describes as a focused and intentional “plan of attack on the enemy.” This next phase includes releasing more music, expanding the Redemption Radio concept, and stepping more boldly into the public arena. The vision is not about trends or industry validation, but about advancing the Gospel through creativity, excellence, and perseverance.
twelve’s music is currently available across major platforms. The Onset can be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, and all other digital music streaming services, while Bridges and Redemption Radio are accessible via SoundCloud. Each project represents a different chapter of the journey, united by a consistent message of redemption, resilience, and faith.
In a culture that often equates silence with stagnation, twelve’s story offers a powerful reminder: preparation is not delay, obscurity is not absence, and obedience behind the scenes still moves the Kingdom forward. The evolution is unfolding, the vision is sharpening, and the tape is still rolling.
