Worship leaders and ministry pioneers Justin and Elly Heckel have released their newest book, Worship Everywhere: A Practical Guide to Foster Continuous Worship, now available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions. Officially launched on September 30 at 12 p.m. CST, the release marks an important milestone for the couple, who have spent over two decades helping believers cultivate authentic encounters with God.

The vision behind the book was born not in a conference room or on a church platform, but in a laundry room in 2019. At the time, the Heckels were exhausted by ministry schedules and the demands of raising three young children. Surrounded by baskets of clothes and the routines of family life, they made a simple choice: pause, pick up a guitar, and worship Jesus right there in the middle of it all.

What could have been an ordinary evening of chores turned into a defining moment that reshaped their approach to worship and eventually sparked a movement. That moment was shared online, and it resonated so deeply that thousands of people across the country began to engage with the idea of bringing worship into the everyday. Through the hashtags #worshipandlaundry and later #worshipeverywhere, the message spread quickly and authentically, connecting people who longed to meet God outside of traditional church settings.

That powerful moment became the foundation for this new book, which expands the message into a comprehensive resource for believers, families, and church leaders. Worship Everywhere is both inspirational and practical. It teaches that worship is not limited to a weekly gathering or a polished music set, but is the posture of the heart throughout every season of life. The book blends real-life ministry stories with biblical wisdom and practical tools, guiding readers to cultivate worship as a way of life rather than an activity confined to a schedule.

Throughout its pages, readers will find encouragement to see worship differently. The Heckels emphasize that worship does not require a stage, a microphone, or a spotlight. It only requires a surrendered heart. Whether someone is cooking dinner, commuting to work, caring for children, or leading a congregation, every moment can become an opportunity to encounter God. The book highlights practical ways to integrate worship into ordinary life, from creating intentional rhythms of prayer and praise at home to fostering environments where the Holy Spirit can move freely in church and community settings.

The Heckels also write with church leaders and worship teams in mind. For many in ministry, the pressure to produce flawless worship experiences can lead to burnout or a performance-driven culture. Worship Everywhere calls leaders back to the heart of worship, reminding them that God desires authenticity more than perfection. By sharing testimonies from their own journey as well as stories from ministry across the Midwest, Justin and Elly encourage leaders to shift their focus from performance to presence, helping to cultivate worship atmospheres that are Spirit-led, transformative, and deeply personal.

The couple’s own ministry story adds weight to the message of the book. Justin and Elly have spent more than 20 years serving in churches, prayer houses, nonprofit organizations, and revival gatherings. Through Heckel Ministries, they have poured into communities with the vision of igniting hearts for God and encouraging people to recognize His presence in every circumstance. Yet while their public ministry has touched many, their most important stage has always been their home. Together with their three energetic sons... Zalen, Liam, and Judah, and their playful dog Daisy, the Heckels live out the reality of worship as a family lifestyle. Their home is filled not only with the ordinary routines of raising children but also with spontaneous worship moments, prayers, and songs that reflect the message they now share through their book.

This book could not have come at a more timely moment. Many churches and believers today are wrestling with questions of authenticity, sustainability, and what it really means to live lives of worship. In a culture that often prizes production value and outward appearance, Worship Everywhere serves as a reminder that God is not waiting for perfect settings. He is present in the ordinary. The Heckels believe this perspective is vital for the health of the Church today, especially for families and leaders who long for worship that feels real and sustainable.

For the Heckels, worship has always been about accessibility. Their heart is to show that worship isn’t reserved for a select few or for extraordinary moments. It is available to everyone, every day. This is reflected in the way the book was written, not as an academic manual but as a personal invitation. It is filled with relatable stories, encouraging wisdom, and practical guidance designed to meet readers right where they are. Whether someone is a new believer, a busy parent, a seasoned leader, or someone longing for fresh intimacy with God, the book provides encouragement and direction to make worship a natural part of daily life.

The authors describe Worship Everywhere as the culmination of nearly 20 years of ministry lessons, personal breakthroughs, and lived experience. In their introduction, they explain that the book is both an offering and a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Every chapter carries the reminder that worship is not confined to sacred spaces but flows from the posture of a heart turned toward God. It is a call for believers to live with greater awareness of His presence and to allow that awareness to transform how they work, how they lead, how they raise their families, and how they engage their communities.

With this release, Justin and Elly are also extending an invitation to leaders and churches to reimagine the role of worship in their ministries. They hope the book becomes a tool not just for personal growth but for cultivating cultures of worship that ripple outward into homes, congregations, and entire communities. Their prayer is that it would ignite a hunger for authenticity and empower people to recognize that God is near in every circumstance.

Worship Everywhere: A Practical Guide to Foster Continuous Worship officially released on September 30, 2025, and is now available on Amazon.com. Readers can purchase it in both paperback and Kindle editions. What started with a guitar and a pile of laundry has now become a message for the global Church. Justin and Elly Heckel’s Worship Everywhere is a call to embrace worship not as a segment of a service but as a lifestyle that saturates every part of life. Their story and their book remind us that worship does not end when the music stops. It begins the moment we choose to invite God into everything we do.
